Christmas time in New York is one of the most wonderful and shimmering moments of the year. Naturally it’s also Paradise for those who love shopping, specially if you like unique and handmade gifts. From mid November through the beginning of January you can find Holiday markets in many places in NYC, but I have my favorites ( like many other “Newyorkers” ) and I’ll be happy to share them with you.
Even though you might choose to resist to the impulse of shopping in this period ( very difficult think to do..) it’s still worthwhile to visit them and immerge in the magical Holiday atmosphere and maybe try some of the goodies typical of this time or taste a delicious hot chocolate while learning more of NYC history.
Please wear warm clothes, gloves ,scarves and hats ( NY can be very cold during this time of the year).
